Nestled in the heart of the McLaren Vale wine region is Vigna Bottin Cellar Door and Osteria. It's effectively Italy on your doorstep.
Specialising in Italian varietals, the Bottin family have been growing grapes in the region for three generations. Vigna Bottin offers seated wine flights involving a journey through a choice of wines from the Casa and Cantina ranges, alongside a tasting plate. The wine selection includes Versecco (sparkling white), Prosecco, Fiano, Vermentino, Rosato, Sangiovese, Nero d'Avola, Barbera, Compare’s Shiraz, Montepulciano and 2019 Shiraz. Our Sangiovese is our flagship wine, from our 25-year-old vines.
We provide a unique Italian long lunch experience where tables are reserved all day, ensuring a relaxed atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a full tasting experience in the cellar door followed by lunch in our dining area which we call our Italian shed, with a fireplace and stunning views of the vines and garden. Guests can enjoy pre-drinks in our garden before settling in for their long lunch experience.
We're now open Thursday through Monday for lunch, with Friday nights also available and every month, on a Friday night, we host accordion players who entertain our guests with familiar/known tunes.
