In addition to standard adult eBikes, we also cater to families. SA eBikes' McLaren Vale Visitor Centre Hire Hub also hire:
Cargo eBikes capable of carrying several children on the long seat behind the rider, eBikes with Child seats, trailers, and Tag-alongs for young riders.
Every SA eBike hire includes helmets and locks for safety. Local maps and expert recommendations are provided to help plan personalised itineraries, with local knowledge helping guests factor in opening hours for cellar doors and restaurants when formulating their route.
SA eBikes are all legal Pedal Assist bikes, meaning it is possible to select a level of assistance, from zero to five, that provides assistance up to a maximum speed of 25km/hr whilst pedalling. This makes riding fun and exhilarating, and riding up hills becomes a breeze!

The McLaren Vale Visitor Centre is at the junction of the Shiraz Bike Trail, and the Coast to Vines Bike Trail. Both are beautifully transformed railway corridors.
The Coast to Vines Trail leads westward beyond the township of McLaren Vale to the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula coastline, with breathtaking views of golden beaches and crystal-clear waters.
The Shiraz trail stretches between the township of McLaren Vale and the historic township of Willunga.
The Flat to Vale Trail is a recently developed treasure, branching off the Shiraz Trail just 50 meters before Oxenberry Farm. This picturesque bike route leads to he McLaren Flat region, home to more award-winning restaurants and boutique cellar doors.
The bike trails offer a tranquil escape from roads and traffic, giving the chance to be immersed in the region's stunning natural beauty. Local wildlife—birdlife, koalas, and kangaroos are often spotted along the way, adding an extra touch of magic to the ride.
McLaren Vale is home to over 70 boutique cellar doors, gin distilleries, and local breweries, offering an incredible variety of places to stop and indulge. Wine lovers, gin enthusiasts, craft beer aficionados, or foodies will all find plenty of options to delight their taste buds.

Rental Terms and Conditions:
1. I accept full responsibility for all equipment hired by me or a third party (if under the age of 18 years and in my care), and agree to pay for any equipment damage incurred during my hire period either through invoice or by monies being withheld from the rental bond to cover repair costs.
2. I declare that I or a third party (if under the age of 18 years and in my care) are able to, and capable of riding a bike of their own free will and ability.
3. I will be mindful of and apply common sense to minimise and prevent any danger or risk occurring to me or any third party, property and hired equipment.
4. I will abide by all local and government road safety rules, laws and guidelines while riding in both community and public areas.
5. I agree to ensure that I or a third party (if under the age of 18 years and in my care) will all wear approved helmets (legal requirement) at all times while riding a rental bike, and that equipment is to be used and applied in a safe manner.
6. I take full responsibility for any and all equipment hired by me or a third party (if under the age of 18 years and in my care), and will apply suitable precautions against theft and/or damage by housing or securing safely all hired equipment.
7. I agree to be responsible for myself or a third party (if under the age of 18 years and in my care) and I agree to be held responsible for all risk taken by me or a third party (if under the age of 18 years and in my care) during activities.
8. I agree NOT to lend either bike/s or equipment to a third party during the hire period.
9. I agree to return all rental bike/s and related hired equipment in the same condition as they were initially hired to me at or before the conclusion of the agreed rental period.
10.I agree that all equipment hired by me will be returned to the hire location, or some other location agreed at the time of issue, at least 15 minutes prior to the publicised closing time of that establishment. In the event of late return, I agree to pay $1.00 (one dollar) per bike, per minute after the published closing time.
11.SA eBikes has the right to refuse, or terminate the continuing, hire of any bike or equipment to any person judged by SA eBikes as incapable of undertaking cycling activities in a safe and responsible manner.
